Welcome to the Italy Visa Application Centre

The Consulate of Italy in Jerusalem is pleased to announce the opening of its Visa Application Centre in Ramallah and Gaza.

The services are available to all customers who cannot reach the Visa Office in Jerusalem.

Notice to start the appointment system

Applications at the Visa Centers in Ramallah and in Gaza for the Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem can only be lodged by appointment.

Customers are reminded that scheduling an appointment is free of charge.  Anyone offering appointments upon payment must be reported to the Consulate General.

No rush fee is foreseen.

Applicants are warned against anybody who, claiming contacts in the Visa Office, promises facilitations of issuance of visas in exchange for money or other benefits.

Please, make sure to apply at least 21 days before the time of the intended departure.

Applicants who wish to apply for a Visa are requested to kindly read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site will help you prepare your application as accurately as possible and minimize delays caused due to incomplete documentation.
Visa Application Process
Step 1 : Applications for short stay visas (tourist, business, transit visas and short stay applications of family members of EU nationals) are accepted at the Visa Application Centre.

For short stay visas, spouses of EU nationals and children of EU nationals up to 21 years of age are exempt from paying the visa fees.

For short stay visas Children under 12 years of age are exempt from paying the visa fees.
Step 2 : Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your “purpose of visit- do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Visa Application Center is only responsible for the reception of applications and release of the passports after they have been processed. Visa Application Center does not have a say on whether your visa will be granted and how long it will take to process your application, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Consulate General of Italy.
